The Drake Passage

The Drake Passage is the body of water between South America’s Cape Horn, Chile, Argentina and the South Shetland Islands of Antarctica. More than 800 ships are believed to have succumbed to its waters. More than 20,000 sailors are believed to have perished in the area.
