The Wimberley Players continue their run of “Now & Then,” a romantic dramedy, 7:30 p.m., 150 Old Kyle Rd. The play’s ever- thickening plot unfolds as a mysterious gentleman enters a bar late one evening and makes a young couple an offer they find irresistable. Performances are Fridays and Saturdays 7:30 p.m., Sundays 2:30 p.m., through October 6. Tickets are $25, $20 for students with ID at wimberleyplayers.org

Wimberley Good Neighbor’s Level Up costume dodgeball tournament, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Wimberley High School Bridges gym, 100 Carney Lane. Adult teams will compete against each other for prizes and bragging rights for the best team costume. Proceeds will help WISD kids with school and school-related costs, including tutor fees, summer camp, sports equipment and fees, college prep, band uniforms and other expenses. Choose your favorite players from the Ballbarians, the Ballerinas, Balls to the Wall, Daj Mabal, the Floss Bosses, Dodge Dynasty, the Donut Dodgers, Firehouse Fools, and Dodge, Duck, Chill teams.

Tickets are $5 at the door. Fans aged 17 and under get in free.

Keep Wimberley Beautiful RR12 clean up, starting at Cragg’s Lumber and Home Center at 16965 RR12, at 8 a.m. KWB is looking for volunteers aged 18 and up to help with the twomile cleanup. Crime Stoppers Murder Mystery Dinner and Auction at the Wimberley Community Center, 14068 RR12, beginning at 5:30 p.m. Ticket holders can expect a night of food, mystery, laughs, murder, and a chance at winning items in the silent auction. September 28 and 29 The WV Art League’s annual studio tour will direct art aficionados to the studios of eight Hill Country artists working in oil, acrylic, sculpture, fiber, assemblage, photography, metal, jewelry, paper and ceramic. Featured artists are Peggy Weiss, Kathy Utts, Jim Street, Warren Cullar, Shelley Esser, Jeff and Leigh Peterson, Diane Lunow and Trisha McWaters. In the studio with Trisha McWaters are visiting artists Billielee Mommer, Martha Gibson and Jan Fitzhugh.

The self-guided tour is free. On September 28, studios open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on September 29, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Studio maps and other information are at wimberleyvalleyartleague. org.

WimberleyArt.org’s new monthly Art Crawl features Wimberley galleries open late every first Thursday, 5 to 8 p.m., with a different theme each month, guest artists, and refreshments. Visit five galleries and be eligible for great prizes.

The Hill Country Unit of the Herb Society of America meets the third Wednesday of the month at the Wimberley Village Library, 400 FM 2325 and features guest speakers, educational programs, and hands-on activities that promote the use of herbs for health, cooking or home care.
