Wimberley artist Maxine Price has the honor of having three of her large oil paintings exhibited in the United States Department of State’s Ambassador’s Residence Program in the United States Embassy in Malabo, Equatorial Guinea along with the work of a few other Texas artists.

A few early turnovers kept Lampasas High School in the ball game early against Wimberley High School last week, but with a steady demeanor and the help of a homecoming crowd, the Texans stayed the course to cruise to victory 41-20.

Wimberley High School’s volleyball team notched another win last week as the Lady Texans swept the Boerne High School Greyhounds 3-0 (25-10, 25-18, 25-14). The victory gives the Lady Texans 23 wins for the season and improves their district record to 3-1 overall.
