A New Year and a New Season for the Players

What a year 2021 was. Coming out of 2020 with the lights of the Great White Way on Broadway dimmed, many people said that live theatre was doomed, that it couldn’t be produced, that it was just too hard. They said it just couldn’t be done. The Wimberley Players proved them wrong and continued offering programs of music and movies in the parking lot. The Gin Game and It Had to Be You opened with socially distanced audiences. They expanded their live-streaming capabilities. They brought The Rocky Horror Picture Show to a Wimberley audience under the stars, for the first time ever. They staged three amazing full run (and full house!) shows: Nunsense, Sleuth and Jacob Marley’s Christmas Carol. 01/13/2022 12:00 AM
