New Event Center for Double J Ranch Golf Club
Demolition is nearly complete on the old clubhouse at the Woodcreek golf course to make way for a new event center. Purchased in April by Joe and Jennifer Gambino of Phoenix, the course is now called the Double J Ranch Golf Club. Halloween in Wimberley got underway last weekend with the Haunted Pioneer Town and Train Ride of Terror. A production of the Wimberley Players and 7A Ranch, the two-evening event raised goosebumps as actors portrayed resident ghosts in the streets, the shops, the graveyard, the chapel, and other locations throughout the Western-themed village.
