KOC donates $10k to TruChoice Pregnancy Resource Center

The Knights of Columbus Bishop Reicher Council No. 9151 in Wimberley Texas presents a gift of $10,000 to the TruChoice Pregnancy Resource Center of San Marcos. The $10,000 gift was made possible through the Knight’s Nina Kohler Fund in participation with TruChoice’s Adopt A Room Campaign for their new San Marcos building. Eight Great Springs represented with Kite exhibition

In partnership with the Austin Central Library, the Wimberley Valley Watershed Association has created a poster exhibit highlighting eight great Texas springs. The exhibit, located on the 6th floor gallery of the Austin Central Library, features posters illustrating the beauty, significance and challenges for each spring. The poster exhibit deepens the discussion of the springs initiated by the Sacred Springs Kite Exhibition with posters focused on each of the eight featured Sacred Springs: San Solomon, Comanche, the Blue Hole, Comal, San Marcos, Barton, Krause, and Jacob’s Well Springs. The poster series, on display now through the end of August 2022, compliments the art kites of the Sacred Springs Kite Exhibition and serves to further educate and inspire visitors.

I feel like the community concern regarding the Horseshoe Ridge RV Park planned for the west side of RR 12 roughly between the intersections of RR 12 with Old Oaks Ranch Rd. and Gold’s Rd has been summarily dismissed. How can there be so little coverage of a project expected to be as densely populated (201 RV tenants on 30 acres) as this is to be?
