The Hill Country Community Band will present their first concert of the year, “Feste Italiana”, on February 18 at 4 p.m., at the First Baptist Church in Wimberley. Directed by Dr. Manuel Arambula, this free and family-friendly program will include “some Italian blockbusters” such as “The Pines of Rome” by Ottorino Respighi, and transcribed by Guy M. Duker, “Nessum Dorma”, an aria from the final act of Puccini’s opera Turandot and one of the best-known tenor arias in all opera, and “Florentiner March”, an Italian Grand March, by Julius Fucik, Op.214, and edited by John R.
