The Katherine Anne Porter School has reinstated its Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service, bringing together 27 student volunteers, administrator Jennifer Bravo and superintendent Subhas Mathew.
“At KAPS, we believe that Martin Luther King Jr. Day is a day on, not a day off,” KAPS Board Member Sarah Attwood said in advance of the event. “On Monday, our students will report to campus at their regular time, but then head off to different volunteer projects throughout Wimberley. They are very excited to give back to the community that has been so supportive of them.”
