WimDems reschedule candidate forum
The Wimberley Democrats event to meet Hays County Democrats running for office in the March 2024 Democratic primary elections has been rescheduled to Sunday, February 4, from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. at the Oldham- Cumming VFW Post #6441, 401 Jacobs Well Road. A candidate meet and greet will take place from 2:30 to 3 p.m. for uncontested candidates followed by a moderated program from 3 to 5:30 p.m. for races with multiple candidates. The meeting was unexpectedly shut down last Sunday after a problem surfaced at the VFW facility. Because the event is contingent upon repairs at the VFW, citizens are requested to check wimdems.org website for updates. For additional inquiries, email [email protected]. 01/31/2024 12:00 AM
