The Hays County housing market will cool down in the coming months, according to projections from Texas A&M Real Estate Research Center Economist Adam Perdue.

The first day of school for the Wimberley Independent School District was August 17. The district updated the community on a number of topics as the school year began.

Nearly 500 Wimberley ISD students will start the new school year with the supplies needed thanks to the Back to School Fiesta, which is put together by local nonprofit Barnabas connection.

The beginning of life wasn’t great for Rufus, but now he’s surrounded by people who care and things are looking up. In the short time he’s been at WAG, he has learned to relax around other dogs and even play a little. Rufus is house trained and is learning basic commands like sit. He’s very smart and loyal.
