Danforth cafeteria manager honored a ‘Hunger Hero’

Marc Steiner was recognized by the Wimberley Independent School District Board of Trustees last week for being named a No Kid Hungry Texas Hunger Hero Hall of Famer. No Kid Hungry Texas recognized five Hunger Heroes from across the state as individuals who have gone above and beyond to ensure kids have access to healthy meals. Marc, the cafeteria manager at Danforth Junior High, didn’t let a year rife with staffing shortage, supply chain disruptions and other challenges get in the way of performing his duties at DJH.
