Weather plays a role in spring sports as do holidays and school breaks. With a shortened week for Good Friday and Easter weekend, last week’s contests at the Wimberley Sports Complex were adjusted to Monday and Thursday. When a cold front moved in late Wednesday, Thursday’s games were moved over to Monday. Both variables, holiday observance and weather, played a part in circumstances.

In 2021, the ancestral records of more than 11.5 billion people were digitized through Family-Search International, another project of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. That tidal wave of information revealed the connections, movement and assimilation of humans and helped to restore the much-withered family tree.
