Easter came and went this past weekend in the Wimberley Valley, celebrated with church services, family and lots and lots of Easter eggs.
Cypress Creek Church, for one example, continued its annual tradition of an Easter egg drop and hunt on Sunday, April 9. A helicopter loaded with thousands of Easter eggs took off over the South River Business Park before dropping the eggs in the field alongside Ranch Road 12 in front of the church. Hundreds of children — many with the help of their parents — quickly overtook the field in a hunt for the most eggs.
