Keep America Beautiful, the national organization to which the local Keep Wimberley Beautiful chapter belongs, encourages communities across America to Beautify the environment sustainably. We in Wimberley have a special local problem of conserving water as we are in a drought.
Wimberley’s Leaning Pear Restaurant will break ground this fall on an expansion of their bar, patio and parking area.
On Saturday morning, the seventeenth annual Back to School Fiesta at the Barnabas Connection kicked off in Wimberley. More than 458 backpacks filled with school supplies awaited students who had pre-registered for the event. In addition to the school supplies, 16 community organizations provided services and resources to the students and their families.
