The Knights of Columbus Council 9151 in Wimberley, as a team, will host the 20th Annual Hunters Night Out later this year.
The event is scheduled to take place on Saturday, Oct. 21 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Wimberley. This 20th anniversary of the Hunters Night Out event is expected to be a festive evening “Under the Big Tent.” Last year, the Knights awarded $90,000 to local charities and nonprofit organizations as a direct result of HNO’s generous sponsors and patrons.
“We have been blessed by the many years of local support,” said Joe Oldham of the HNO Leadership Team. “We would like to continue to grow our community contributions, which I think we can do thanks to all our supporters.”
To encourage early ticket sales, the KofC are offering a commemorative prize drawing of a 20th Anniversary HNO Golden Boy Rifle to those purchasing their tickets by Mid-September. To buy tickets early, contact a local Knight or go online to huntersnightout. com. The 2023 HNO pre-event ticket prices are the same as last year: $40 each or four tickets for $140. The ticket prices at the door, if available, will be $55 each. Sponsorships range from $500 to $1,000 or more, and donations always help to ensure a successful event. By purchasing a HNO Ticket, participants can enjoy the company of their friends and neighbors, good music, a delicious BBQ dinner, refreshing beverages and a chance to win one of 30 guns given away by Cabela’s gift cards. HNO also features a live auction, card scrambles and bucket drawings.
“The money raised at Hunters Night Out is returned to community nonprofit organizations, religious organizations, student scholarships and Knights of Columbus projects. We thank all our sponsors and participants without whom we couldn’t have had 20 years of success,” said Bill Kammerer, another HNO Leadership Team member.
People can get their tickets from any St. Mary Knight of Columbus or purchase their tickets online, become a sponsor or donate using our website: huntersnightout. com.
