Court reviews Oak Grove fire cause, preparedness

On Saturday morning, the seventeenth annual Back to School Fiesta at the Barnabas Connection kicked off in Wimberley. More than 458 backpacks filled with school supplies awaited students who had pre-registered for the event. In addition to the school supplies, 16 community organizations provided services and resources to the students and their families.
Wimberley ISD will start back up this coming week, kicking its 2023– 2024 year off with a number of back-toschool events.
The Central Texas Theatre Academy has opened a new micro-school for homeschoolers this Fall. The fine arts micro- school will host kids in grades three to eight on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
This year’s Hays County Emergency Preparedness Fair is all about celebrating community heroes by helping Hays County residents prepare for any emergency through knowledge, education and learning new skills.
