TRACK STATE CHAMPIONSHIP 2022: UPDATES
Wimberley High School has athletes competiting in nine events at the UIL State Track Meet that started at 9 a.m. on Thursday and ends at around 8:30 p.m. Updates for Wimberley athletes can be found here throughout the day.
Moses Wray brought home the first Wimberley medal of the day with a third place finish in the shot put.
Emily Thames placed fourth in the long jump.
Gabe Wray captured the bronze medal in triple jump for the second state medal for the Wimberley Boys track team today.
Elise Brown finished the pole vault event clearing 10-6.00.
Grace Harney finished 8th in the 100M Hurdles. Grace as one more race to go in the 300M Hurdles.
The Wimberley Boys 800M Relay captured 2nd Place at State.
Canyun Staton takes second in the 200m run.
