SHERRY LYNN PRIDDY

Sherry Lynn Priddy of Wimberley passed away Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at the age of 77. She was born in galveston 011 August 25,1946 to Vernon King and Juanita Dewbre.

She is preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Barry King and Aubrey Dewbre.

Sherry moved to Wimberley in 2000, and began developing Priddy Meadow RV Park which became her passion and the people there became her family.

Sherry inspired a unique sense of community where everyone looks after each other. Sherry was a stranger to no one and her quick wit and sense of humor could always bring a smile.

She brightened your day.

Sherry was known for her generosity, compassion, and genuinely cared about the park and the community. An arid nature lover, she had a child's delight in nature and her park became a beautiful sanctuary for deer, birds, foxes and squirrels.

While developing the park, Sherry worked at Austin Community College, San Marcos, Texas, until her retirement in 2010.
