HUGO CPUZANO GONZALEZ

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of a beloved father, husband, brother, and friend, who departed from this world surrounded by his loving family. He leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and cherished memories that will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him.

Hugo Campuzano Gonzalez was born on April 1st 1951 in the colonial town of Taxco, Guerrero Mexico and peacefully entered the Kingdom of Heaven on March 17th 2024 in Wimberley, Texas USA at 72 years of age, surrounded by his most loved ones.

He was the first son of Graciano Campuzano Cadena and Zenaida Gonzalez Castañeda, whose teachings and love shaped the man he became. Their legacy of strength, resilience, and love for family lives on through him and now continues with his sons.

He was a cherished brother not just in name but in every action to Norah, Ricardo Javier, Alberto Santiago, and Jesus. Together, they shared the bond of family that transcended the mere ties of blood, bound together by shared laughter, support, and an unbreakable bond of love and mutual respect.

He is survived by his devoted sons, José, the steadfast eldest, who inherited his father’s strength and leadership; Hugo Alejandro, whose kindness and spirit reflect his father’s gentle nature; and Dania Xarel, the youngest, whose zest for life and curiosity mirror his father’s own. Each son carries forward a part of their father’s legacy, embodying his virtues and love.

His journey through life was one of profound love and partnership, first with Teresa Cortez, with whom he shared the early chapters of his story, and later with Teresa Rivera, who stood by his side, sharing in the joys and sorrows of life’s later chapters.

Both Teresa’s played pivotal roles in his life, weaving together the tapestry of his life’s story with threads of love, friendship, and shared memories.

In addition to his remarkable life journey, Hugo’s intellect was evident from his earliest years. As the eldest sibling, he naturally assumed the role of leader within his family, guiding and inspiring those around him with his wisdom and determination. Growing up in Taxco, Guerrero, he endeared himself to countless friends and camaraderie in the small magic town, leaving April 1, 1951 — March 17, 2024

an indelible mark on their lives.

Hugo was renowned for his strong character, fearless personality and everlasting love of life that his family will carry on throughout the rest of their own. Hugo was renowned for his infectious sense of humor, bringing laughter and joy to all who crossed his path. His quick wit truly made him the life of la fiesta, leaving a trail of smiles in his wake.

It was later on in life that Hugo encountered the love of his life and partner for the rest of his years, Teresa Rivera. His love for his children and grandchildren is boundless. He is an incredibly proud father of his two sons, Pepe and Alex. One of the proudest moments of his life was when he welcomed his beloved ‘daddy’s little girl’, Dania Xarel Campuzano Rivera, into the world.

Driven by a deep sense of responsibility and a longing for a brighter future, Hugo embarked on a courageous journey to relocate his family across countries, ultimately planting his roots in Wimberley, TX. Here, he flourished as a skilled Silversmith and proud business owner of The Silver Queen, establishing a legacy that would endure for a lifetime.

There is no doubt in his family’s heart that Hugo came to this world to accomplish every single thing that he set his mind to.

Devoted to his faith, Hugo lived each day in accordance with the teachings of God, finding comfort and strength in scripture. His unwavering belief in the divine plan surrounded him with a sense of peace that transcended earthly concerns.

As he gracefully transitioned into eternity, Hugo’s legacy of courage, resilience and unwavering love continues to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know him. Though he may have left this world, his spirit remains ever-present, guiding his loved ones with the same steadfast determination that defined his life. Hugo’s memory will forever be cherished, his impact everlasting, and his legacy enduring.

His life was a beautiful tapestry woven with moments of joy, lessons of resilience, and the constant thread of love that connected him to all those he touched. He lived with a purpose, loved with all his heart, and left this world a better place for having been in it.

As we bid farewell, we also celebrate the incredible life he led and the profound impact he had on those around him. Though his physical presence will be missed, his spirit, love, and the memories we hold dear will forever keep him with us.
