Starlight Symphony presents annual Pops Concert

The Starlight Symphony Orchestra will present its annual Pops Concert on May 4 and May 5. Director David Oertel has chosen popular music from the world of films for the final concert of the season. The concert playlist includes music from Dances with Wolves, Star Wars, Back to the Future, Stranger Things, Aladdin, Pirates of the Caribbean, Game of Thrones, The Barbie Movie and Avengers: End Game. Listeners are encouraged to dress up as their favorite characters.

The May 4 concert will be held at the Wimberley Valley Winery, 2825 Lone Man Mountain Rd. in Driftwood, at 7 p.m. The May 5 concert will be held at the Wimberley First Baptist Church, 15951 Winters Mill Pkwy in Wimberley at 4 p.m. There is no charge to attend but donations are welcome.
