Skintique Spa celebrated the expansion of its business with a ribbon cutting last month, sponsored by the Wimberley Valley Chamber of Commerce.
Skintique, located in Woodcreek, now offers a full-service, private skin and Pilates studio. The spa will continue to provide its previous offerings as well, including full-service, customized skin treatments exclusively with leading and top of the line skin care partners SkinCeuticals and YonKa Paris.
Private and semi-private Pilates sessions are available by appointment only with owner Lara Elizabeth, who creates a personalized program for each client using the Pilates Reformer, Cadillac, Ladder Barrel, Pilates Chair, Spinal Corrector, and more.
“Pilates training is essential in building length and strength in the body while focusing on core strength, spine health and mobility” she explained. “Other benefits include improvements in stability, joint mobility, flexibility, cognitive/ body awareness, mood, energy, breath control and many many more.”
Lara has been a leader in the fitness and wellness industries for over 30 years.
“My wellness journey led me directly to skin and body health,” she stated on her website. “After graduating from the AVEDA Institute in Austin, I opened Skintique Spa in Wimberley in the spring of 2016. I am blessed to say Skintique has grown into its own with a healthy and loyal clientele from all over Hays County.”

Lara also works as the general manager at Club Pilates in Belterra. There, she completed the comprehensive 500-hour teacher training programming through Club Pilates, establishing her experience, skills and qualifications for training clients.
