The Wimberley boys basketball team made the trip out to Bandera in a heated regular season finale.

Throughout the 2021-2022 basketball season, the Lady Texans seniors added their own personal touch to their team on and off the court.

Sometimes the best team doesn’t win. It certainly appears that was the case last week for the Wimberley girls’ golf team.

Ann Teresa Tyrrell, nee Daly, of New Braunfels, Texas, a much-loved mother, wife, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, sister, daughter and friend passed away peacefully at her home February 11, 2022 with her family present. She was born August 11, 1928 in Elizabeth, NJ and resided in New Braunfels, TX for the past nine years.

Barbara Ruth Bonner of Wimberley died on Tuesday, February 15, 2022. The Gold Award is the highest possible achievement with the Girl Scouts of America, and it is now part of the growing tally of accomplishments for Wimberley High School senior Makenzie Haston. Gold Award recipients must provide a lasting solution to an issue in their community, so when it came time for Makenzie to choose a project to pursue for her Gold Award, she thought of the younger Texans that share her school district and her community.
