Property tax statements now available online
Property tax statements now available online

The November Constitutional Amendment election led to changes in property taxes that have delayed tax statements for the year, according to the Hays County Tax Assessor-Collector Jenifer O’Kane. The property tax statements are now available to view online at tax.co.hays.tx.us and will become delinquent on Feb. 1. O’Kane issued this statement on Dec. 14 to explain the reason for the delay.

2024 launches with a splash at Blue Hole

Two hundred and fifty hardy runners and more than 400 people attended the annual Polar Bear Plunge and 5K run on January 1 at Blue Hole. Enthusiasts were greeted with temperatures in the mid-forties at the 9 a.m. start of the race.
