Congratulations to Wimberley High School Senior Quinton Mendoza who was named the THSCA Coaches Cross Country Academic All-State Team. Quinton earned a spot on the Elite Team, which means he had near perfect scores in all categories. Way to go!

The Wimberley girls basketball team wrapped up the first round of district play last week with an important 49-46 win over the Davenport Wolves before falling to the state ranked Boerne Greyhounds in a 74-24 loss.
It was a packed house in Wimberley Friday night as the Texans and the Boerne Greyhounds battled it out for a chance to have a leg up in the hunt for a district championship.
