Alexis Pointe, has started a weekly support group for families living with Parkinson’s called the Loud Crowd.
The meetings will be at 11 a.m. every Wednesday at Alexis Pointe.

Wimberley Good Neighbor Adopt-A-Family applications are open! If you are a household that will be struggling over the holidays, please fill out the online application, or contact them if you would like to nominate a family in need! Families are completely anonymous and eligible for toys for their children, needs, and holiday meal.

HAPPENING THIS WEEK Ozona Bank and Wimberley's Crisis Bread Basket. 20th Turkeys Tackling Hunger Fundraiser. Volunteer Turkeys will be on RR 12 on November 8 and 10th with buckets for donations to help feed the hungry during the holiday season. Ozona Bank is contributing up to $5,000.00 in matching funds. Please donate what you can to help a neighbor.

VFW Post 6441, Saturday, November 12 from 11 am till 2pm. In recognition of their service to this great nation, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6441 in Wimberley will provide a free meal to all Wimberley Valley veterans and their families. The meal will consist of brisket, chicken legs, sausage, and the fixin's.
Keep Wimberley Beautiful, Shred-it-Day from 8am-noon at the parking lot of the Wimberley Community Center. Scouts will be volunteering at the event. This is a free event, but donations are welcomed.

WMGA Club Championship. Saturday, November 12 at 8am , and Sunday, November 13 at 11:30am. The event, which has taken place every year since 1975, is the highlight of the golf season for Wimberley area golf players. An Award Recognition dinner will be held at 5:30 PM on Sunday. The deadline to register is November 10.
