The city of Woodcreek presented the inaugural “Spirit of Woodcreek” award to Rick Maldonado for helping to keep Woodcreek beautiful and friendly.
“Rick is beloved by all,” Woodcreek Mayor Jeff Rasco said. “You see him just about every day walking the streets of Woodcreek and down Winters Mill with his litter grabber picking up trash.”
The new Spirit of Woodcreek award was started to try and acknowledge and thank citizens that help the Woodcreek community.
“This award is really about volunteerism for your city,” Rasco said. “We’ve got a lot of great volunteers in Woodcreek and throughout the valley… They are all over. We want to recognize our volunteers that make it all happen.”
