Beginning on Tuesday, February 1, Wimberley ISD Board President Dr. Rob Campbell and WISD Superintendent Dwain York will welcome all WISD stakeholders to informal, interactive dialogue sessions called Face to Face, First Tuesdays.
The events will be held on the first Tuesday of each month (except on holidays) at 6:00 p.m. in the Board Room at the WISD Administration Building. All WISD stakeholders are invited to attend including parents, teachers and staff, students, and community members. The events will have a come-and-go format where Dr. Campbell and Mr. York will listen and respond to questions, concerns, and/or ideas regarding WISD.
“I’m excited to hear from those folks who may feel like making a public comment during a board meeting is too formal or intimidating,” says Dr. Campbell. “I hope that respectful, civil discourse meshed with empathetic dialogue on district issues can lead to unity and connectedness on a much more impactful level.”
