Congratulations to the Wimberley View, Dalton Sweat and all the newspaper staff for its well-deserved Texas Press Association awards! We moved here 20 years ago and have seen the View go through ups and downs. Since Dalton added his journalistic professionalism, we’ve enjoyed a dependable, community- involved, informative paper, willing to cover controversial issues and giving generous coverage to volunteer associations and non-profits. Wimberley is a complex, growing, multi-faceted town. Doing a newspaper with a small staff is a very tough job.
