Shakespeare Under the Stars at EmilyAnn

Shakespeare Under The Stars by EmilyAnn will be celebrating their 25th year with the performance of the inaugural show “Taming of the Shrew.” The show runs all week from July 25 through July 30 starting at 8:15 p.m. Wednesday, July 27, will be alumni night as well as welcoming the general audience. I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change at the Wimberley Players

Shakespeare on the River by the Central Texas Theatre Academy will perform The Tempest for free at the beautiful Blue Hole on July 30, 31 and August 6, 7 all shows at 8 p.m. Bring a lawn chair or blanket and join us under the stars for a night of magic.

Fencing 101

Are you looking for an activity with camaraderie, respect, and challenge? Join us as the Texas State University Fencing Club explains the sport of Olympic Fencing, its history, and learn the basics. No prior experience is needed! We will meet at the Wimberley Community Center on July 30 th from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Ages 12 and up are welcome. Please bring close-toed shoes, long pants, and clothes that you can comfortably move in. Online registration required.

Residential Rainwater Harvesting and Turf Management Training

Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service‘s Healthy Lawns and Healthy Waters Program will host a residential rainwater harvesting and turf management training on August 4 for Blanco and Hays counties. The free event will be a hybrid in-person and Zoom online event offered from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. The in-person training will be at the Wimberley Community Center Conference Room. Online registration is required. Attendees who RSVP to the event will receive updates, instructions to join the online meeting and materials related to the meeting via email. The training is being offered in collaboration with the Cypress Creek Watershed Partnerships.

Friends of the Library Book Sale

Coffee and Cars at Blanco Brew

Coffee & Cars is held the First Sunday of every month at Blanco Brew, 14200 RR 12, in Wimberley from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Anyone with a hot rod, muscle car, sports car, exotic, classic truck or unique ride is welcome to come out and put your car on display.

Rustic Moon Bookshop: The Writing Life Book Club

Wimberley Valley Museum

There are new hours for the Winters-Wimberley House/Wimberley Valley Museum. It will be open on the first weekend of month (Market Days Weekend) with docents Friday and Saturday 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. starting June 4 and 5.
