The Best Little Parade in Texas was back on the Fourth of July this year.
Thousands of people lined up the roads on Ranch Road 12 and FM 2325 as they pulled up a chair while the local police shut off the roads heading in and exiting out of Wimberley.
From trucks pulling trailers, to horse drawn carriages, to even a stagecoach, guests were able to see a variety of floats that helped celebrate the day that the United States of America broke away from the British Empire to form their very own country.
The Wimberley Valley Chamber of Commerce, which organized the parade, named award winners in six categories including Best Decorated Float, Best Decorated Car, Best Decorated Truck, Most Patriotic Float, Funnest/Funniest Float and Best Classic Car. For pictures of all the winners, see page 10.
