Woodcreek City Manager Brenton Lewis has submitted his resignation effective June 24, 2022.

“I have really enjoyed working with the city of Woodcreek, and I wish everybody the best in the future,” Lewis said.

His resignation was submitted to Mayor Jeff Rasco prior to the June 8 Woodcreek City Council meeting and was announced by the city on June 11. The city council will vote on accepting his resignation and begin planning for a replacement at a special meeting that will be held on June 16 at 2 p.m. at Woodcreek City Hall.

“Brenton and I have worked together for two years on council and as mayor and have grown to have mutual respect and a shared love for the city,” Rasco said. “We are really going to miss him, and I hope for the best for his future.”

Lewis was hired by the city of Woodcreek in 2016 after serving as the city manager of Llano. He was recognized in 2021 for 40 years of service from the International City Managers Association.
