WineBerley is holding a tasting of Bordeaux wines with Flavien Festy of Château Meyre, of Bordeaux, France, 2 to 5 p.m., at WineBerley, 13615 RR12.

Featured wines are Château Meyre Sauvignon Blanc, “M” Haut-Médoc and Gallen Margaux. Flight of all three $20. No RSVP required.

Wimberley Valley Big Band Fights Pancreatic Cancer with a free concert at the Wimberley Valley Winery, 2825 Lone Man Mountain Rd, Driftwood, 7 to 9 p.m.

Wimberley Pie Social, on the grounds of the Wimberley Valley Museum, 14100 RR12, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The family- friendly event, features a pie competition and a pie eating contest.

Hot dogs, live music, therapy ponies from Mini Equine 2U, and trained service dogs from Freedom Canines International are part of the fun.

Winning pies will be auctioned to the public. Admission to the social is free, with proceeds from pie and hot dog sales benefiting the Wimberley Valley Museum. Ride the City’s free park and ride shuttle,

Earth Day Celebration hosted by the Green Team at the United Methodist Church, RR12 and CR 1492, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the church grounds. Hays County Master Naturalists, Keep Wimberley Beautiful, The Wimberley Refillery, Native American Seed, Hays Trinity Groundwater Conservation District and the Watershed Association will share information. Included are nature games and face painting for kids and an opportunity to purchase 50-gallon rainwater tanks.

Civic Club’s Tablescapes Show and Raffle, at Vintage Oaks Farm, 400 Limestone Lane, Driftwood, 4 to 6 p.m. A unique competition of table top designs by The Love Your Space Place, The Village Store, Vintage Oaks Farm, The Wimberley Players, Victorious You, the Civic Club and five other teams. National Mahjongg League groups meet Tuesdays, 10 a.m. to noon at the Wimberley Valley Library, 400 FM2325. The library owns sets, players should bring their own card. On Wednesdays, a group meets 10 a.m. to noon at the Wimberley Senior Citizens room at the Wimberley Community Center, 14068 RR12.

Bring sets, cards and a $1 donation for coffee and snacks.

42 Players meet Tuesdays and Fridays, 9 a.m. to noon at the Wimberley Senior Citizens Center. Partners not necessary. A $1 donation supports coffee and snacks. Look for the Senior Center suite and entrance on the right side of the Wimberley Community Center.
