The Wimberley Roundtable will host WISD Superintendent Dr. Greg Bonewald, 6:30 to 8 p.m., at Wimberley United Methodist Church, 1200 County Rd 1492, to explain the proposed WISD 2025 Bond in advance of the May 3 election. The public is invited.

April 11 and 12 

37th Annual Wimberley Home Tour, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Self-paced, twoday tour of homes in the Wimberley Valley. Tickets are $30 and can be purchased online at Wimberleyccc. org or in person at the Wimberley Visitor Center, 14100 RR12, April 2, 3 and 8 - 12. Online tickets can also be picked up those days. Bring receipt for verification and collect the tour map.t

April 12

25th Annual Butterfly Festival, 9 to 3 p.m., at the Emily Ann theatre & Gardens, 1101 FM2325, Memorial Butterfly Release, 9 to 10 a.m., live butterfly releases every 30 min- utes, butterfly flight house, animal meet and greet, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., mini donkeys and horses, llamas, concessions and many more activities. Free to attend and park, but donations are welcome.

April 12

Wimberley Film Festival, 6 to 10 p.m., at Blue Hole Regional Park, 333 Blue Hole Ln. Netta Lou Creative and Wimberley Parks and Recreation, present Texas-made short films, documentaries and experimental films. Live music and swimming. April 12

Community Clean-up Day, 8 a.m. to noon or until the bins are full, at the LIon’s Club Parking lot, 601 FM2325. Bring your tired, worn out and broken sofas, stoves, refrigerators, water tanks, washing machines, AC units, sinks, toilets, furniture, and other waste materials (certified where applicable as Freon-free).

Prohibited are any hazardous items, chemical compounds, mixtures or substances, no paints, motor oils, gasoline, mattresses, box springs, brush or tires. Questions 800 375-8375.

The Hill Country Community Band concert, “Supercalifragilistic Sousa-Travaganza,” 4 p.m., Wimberley First Baptist Church, 15951 Winters Mill Parkway.

Weekly Events

National Mahjongg League groups meet Tuesdays, 10 a.m. to noon at the Wimberley Valley Library, 400 FM2325. The library owns sets, players should bring their own card. On Wednesdays, a group meets 10 a.m. to noon at the Wimberley Senior Citizens room at the Wimberley Community Center, 14068 RR12. Bring sets, cards and a $1 donation for coffee and snacks.

42 Players meet Tuesdays and Fridays, 9 a.m. to noon at the Wimberley Senior Citizens Center. Partners not necessary. A $1 donation supports coffee and snacks. Look for the Senior Center suite and entrance on the right side of the Wimberley Community Center.
