An additional opportunity for the public to learn the whys and hows of the proposed $135M 2025 Wimberley Independent School District school bond takes place April 10 at the Wimberley United Methodist Church.
Hosted by Wimberley Roundtable from 6:30 to 8 p.m., the presentation will be led by WISD Superintendent Greg Bonewald. Dr. Bonewald will be discussing the four bond provisions that will be presented on the May 3 local elections ballot.
Early voting for the May 3 elections is April 22 to 29 at the Wimberley Community Center and at the Texan Academy at Scudder, previously Scudder Elementary.
The Wimberley Roundtable is a local nonprofit that brings people in the Wimberley Valley together to work on important issues such as education, affordability, water sustainability, transportation and other subjects. Roundtable events combine learning with socializing to create the connections necessary for tackling community challenges.
