The Lady Texans advanced to the 4A Division II Region IV title game after beating Pleasanton in the Area round and Rockport-Fulton in the Regional semifinals.
The pair of playoff wins improved Wimberley’s record to 21-1-2 overall.
After their first round win, the Lady Texans faced off with the Pleasanton Eagles in a rematch of the 2025 season opener for both teams.
Much like the season opener, it was another dominating win for Wimberley who defeated Pleasanton 4-1.
Senior Haley Lopez completed the hat-trick, scoring three goals against the Eagles following two assists from sophomore Dylan Watson and one assist from senior Lauren Foster. The fourth Lady Texan score came from a Pleasanton own goal.
Advancing to Regional Semifinals, the Lady Texans faced the Rockport-Fulton Pirates. The Pirates entered the showdown with Wimberley with a 16-8-1 overall record, a fourth place finish in District 29 and playoff wins over Vanguard Beethoven and Jubilee Brownsville.
Wimberley brought home their third playoff trophy of the season with a dominant 9-0 win over Rockport-Fulton.
Senior Addison Laney and junior Lili Sandoval both scored hat-tricks with three goals apiece between the duo. Junior Jordin Donaldson, senior Ella Sandoval and Lopez all scored one goal for the Lady Texans.
Ella Sandoval, Lili Sandoval and Watson all had two assists while sophomore Gwyneth Lerma, freshman Emma Durkin and freshman Abby Durkin had one assist.
The Lady Texans will look to win their first ever regional title when Wimberley faces off with the No. 4 ranked Corpus Christi London Pirates.
The Pirates entered the game with a 23-4 record and captured the District 29 title. In the playoffs, London earned playoff wins over Pharr Vanguard Academy Rembrandt, IDEA Robindale and Lady Texan rival Canyon Lake.
Kickoff for Wimberley London is set for 7 p.m. Tuesday at Floresville before the Wimberley View time of press.
