The fourth Annual Brewers Festival takes place 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. in downtown Dripping Springs as twelve central Texas breweries showcase their delicious, award-winning brew. Local food vendors and live music round out the event.

$40 general admission tickets include eight tastings, a complimentary T-Shirt and a commemorative Brewer’s Fest beer mug.

$60 tickets get you a VIP package and $12 tickets are available for designated drivers.

“What the Bible means to me,” a talk by theologian Dr.

Stanglin is part of a meet and greet event from 5:30 to 7 p.m., at the Wimberley Community Center, Blanco Room, 14068 RR12. Presented by Wimberley Church of Christ, the brief talk will be presented multiple times during the evening, arrival time is flexible. Refreshments. The WCOC A Capella Singers will perform Hymns prior to each talk.

April 2

The Green Team is hosting a talk by two speakers with knowledge of the water situation in the Wimberley Valley, 6 to 7:30 p.m., Wimberley United Methodist Church, 1200 CR 1492. Robert Mace from the Meadows Center at Texas State University and Linda Kaye Rogers from the Hays Trinity Groundwater Conservation District will offer presentations.

The event is free, open to the public and includes a light supper. Children are welcome.

April 4

The 4th Chair Project opens at ARTSPACE, 6 to 8 p.m. at the gallery, 111 River Rd., Suite 100. Exhibiting artists will be on hand to talk with visitors about their work and elaborate on the event that inspired the show. Refreshments will be served.

National Mahjongg League groups meet Tuesdays, 10 a.m. to noon at the Wimberley Valley Library, 400 FM2325. The library owns sets, players should bring their own card. On Wednesdays, a group meets 10 a.m. to noon at the Wimberley Senior Citizens room at the Wimberley Community Center, 14068 RR12. Bring sets, cards and a $1 donation for coffee and snacks.

42 Players meet Tuesdays and Fridays, 9 a.m. to noon at the Wimberley Senior Citizens Center. Partners not necessary. A $1 donation supports coffee and snacks. Look for the Senior Center suite and entrance on the right side of the Wimberley Community Center.
