Five distinctive homes and the historic Winters-Wimberley house are open to the public in April for the Civic Club’s 37th Annual Home Tour. This year, ticketholders to the tour will visit a luxurious, 23-acre estate with expansive views and a two-tier pool; glimpse the future in a 3-D printed home; co-habit with nature in a 435-square-foot African safari tent; view a showstopping contemporary hilltop home with a chef’s kitchen; and experience the blending of indoor and outdoor spaces in a tree-houseinspired porch house designed by Lake Flato architects. For those who love marveling at the past, the Winters- Wimberley house completes the tour.

“We have five stunning homes that truly capture the charm and breathtaking beauty of the Texas Hill Country. Each one offers a fascinating look into Wimberley’s rich history and modern lifestyle. This is an event you absolutely don’t want to miss,” said Wimberley Home Tour Co-Chair, Robin Barker Agan.

Each year, the Wimberley Community Civic Club hosts the Home Tour to foster community spirit and raise funds for scholarships benefiting local high school seniors and to support area nonprofits with grants.

The two-day tour begins April 11, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and continues on April 12, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tickets are $30 and can be purchased online in advance at WimberleyCCC. org. To save time picking up tickets, guests are encouraged to buy tickets online.

Tickets (wristbands) and tour maps will be available for pick-up at the Wimberley Visitor Center, 14100 RR12, on April 2, 3, and April 8 through 12 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
