The rapidly approaching deadline for the 2025 Robert Moreman Memorial Scholarship is April 15. To be eligible, applicants must be a graduating student from Wimberley High School, Katherine Anne Porter School, a local home-schooled student, or single-gap-year student.
The Wimberley Valley Arts and Cultural Alliance (Wimberley-Arts.org) is responsible for this scholarship and has a history of awarding deserving students amounts that make a real difference. Over the years, students have received from $6,000 to $15,000 each.
“This year, we expect to award a total of as much as $50,000, ”said Debbie Egan, the RMMS Chairperson. “The application process is not difficult and can be completed with a little focused effort. We place an emphasis on references in our decision process, so allow time to get three good letters.”
The RMMS committee requests help in getting the word out to graduating seniors.
