Hays County Master Gardeners plant and tree sale starts next week

Spring is just around the corner and the Hays County Master Gardeners Association will hold its annual Spring plant and tree sale beginning March 16. A popular event among gardeners, the sale features a wide variety of Spring and Summer vegetables, herbs, shrubs, and trees, many of which have been propagated from members’ plantings and seeds.

Open to the public, the sale can be shopped online or in person. The online sale is active March 16 to 22 by visiting haysgardener. square.site.

In-person sales are March 23, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Buda at the Buda Downtown Gazebo and Greenbelt, 319 Main Street, and at the Budaful Farmers Market at 204 San Antonio St.

Plants are locally grown, climate-appropriate plants specially propagated for the unique environment of Hays County.

The Buda locations will feature plants not available in the online sale.

Shoppers who purchased their plants online can pick up their purchases in Buda during the March 23 in-person event at the Buda Gazebo and Greenbelt, 319 Main Street, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
