Reservations for the 2025 swim season at Blue Hole opens March 1, and with the swim season comes endless opportunities for fun in the sun, thrilling rope swings and refreshing dips in Wimberley’s iconic swimming hole. Whether you’re a first-time visitor or a seasoned local, Blue Hole is the ultimate summer escape in Texas Hill Country.
Not to be confused with the official start of the swim season itself on May 1, early reservations to purchase Season Passes guarantee swimmers access to an iconic and affordable summer getaway.
“Every year, families and friends gather here to create lifelong memories,” said Richard Shaver, Director of Wimberley Parks and Recreation. “Blue Hole isn’t just a swimming spot; it’s a Texas treasure. We can’t wait to welcome back the community for another unforgettable season.”
Season passes offer unlimited access through September and begin at $150. Half day passes for adults, ages 13 to 59, are $12; for youth, ages 4 - 12, are $8; for seniors, ages 60 and up, are $8; for military, $8; and for Wimberley residents, $6.
