Chamber’s Business Basics moved to March 12

Good news for aspiring entrepreneurs and small business owners. The Chamber of Commerce’s Business Basics: How to Create a Business Plan Workshop, canceled in January due to the weather, has now been rescheduled for March 12th.

The workshop is designed to help participants strengthen their business foundation by providing expert insights into crafting a professional business plan, understanding key legal considerations, and navigating tax implications. A strong business plan is essential to attract investors, secure loans, and to guide growth.

Participants will learn step-by-step guidance on creating a business plan and key legal requirements every business should address.

Expert Panelists are Teresa Quinn, Director, Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Texas State University McCoy College of Business, and Kathleen Mendoza, Attorney, Law Offices of Kathleen A. Mendoza.

The workshop will be held in the Blanco Room of the Wimberley Community Center from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. The community center is located at 14068 Ranch Road 12.

The cost for the workshop is $5 for chamber members and $10 for future chamber members. The workshop includes a boxed lunch.
