Wine Berley, Wimberley’s new wine destination, held a grand opening and ribbon cutting last Friday at their new store at 13615 RR12. Owner Geneviève Guy invited guests to browse her selection of Old World wines from France, Italy and Spain, and a few “New World gems” from the U.S. According to Geny, her familiar name, the shop focuses on biodynamic and organic producers.
Visitors to the wine shop, bar and lounge have the option to choose a bottle to take home or drink it, for a corkage fee, in the shop’s comfortable lounge areas.
Wine Berley also offers several membership options for wine purchases, as well as merchandise with a French country provenance. Hours are Tuesday through Saturday, 11:30 a.m. to 8 p.m., and on Sunday, 11:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. To learn more, visit wineberley. com.
