The Texans were back on the soccer field this week, playing the final games of the non-district schedule.
On Tuesday, Wimberley went on the road to New Braunfels to take on the Canyon Cougars.
Despite compet- ing against a Class 6A squad, the Texans were unable to take the victory, falling to the Cougars 2-0.
Wimberley then returned home on Friday to battle Austin IDEA Montopolis. The Texans fell to IDEA Montopolis 4-2.
The Texans start district play on Friday, going on the road to Marble Falls in a showdown with the Mustangs.
Fresh off their bye week, the Lady Texans will also start district play on Friday, hosting Marble Falls at Texan Stadium.
