Do you ever think of something and wonder why no one has invented it yet? During one sleep-deprived night, while looking for one more piece of chocolate in the meat drawer of my refrigerator, the light bulb in my frig, and in my head, turned on. I had some new invention ideas. If you ever see them in production, just remember where you heard about them first.
Vitamin D Enhanced TV or Computer Screen We keep hearing that many people don’t get enough Vitamin D. I guess you have to be outside to get that or down a few gel pills with your choice of wake-up drink. I am thinking that the time it takes to go from the house to the car and to the store and back, is not adequate time to fill our Vitamin D needs. Many of us spend a significant amount of time in front of the TV or computer because it is relaxing and entertaining, so we are reinforced to sit there. Why can’t the big tech companies add something to have our screens emit Vitamin D every time we turn them on? The screens might need to be a little brighter, but we can keep our sun glasses handy. I love doing something to improve my health without doing anything different.
A Mobile Coffee Pot-Vacuum Cleaner This is probably on the horizon. We have coffee pots that grind and brew coffee at the appointed time. And, we have a robot vacuum cleaner that busies itself traveling around the house, without us pushing it. Why can’t the vacuum cleaner be modified to also pick up our coffee and bring it to us? It would be great to get up in the morning to clean floors and a coffee pot moseying over to your chair.
As I sit here writing and glance at my empty coffee cup, I wonder how many more trips I will make to the kitchen before someone eases my life.
