The local 4th Degree Knights of Columbus has entered Phase Two of their Raise the Flag at Eagle Rock Project to reinvigorate the flagpoles and entryway to the Eagle Rock neighborhood, located at the corner of FM2325 and Woodcreek Drive in Wimberley. The Flag Poles have been removed and are being restored, polished and refitted with hardware and solar lights at a local facility. They will be reinstalled shortly.

The Knights, with support from Wimberley Valley residents, have raised two thirds of the funds needed to finish the project. Phase Three will be the creation of a small memorial plaza. Donations of $300, $500 and $1,000 will be recognized by engraved paver stones in the memorial plaza with the names of contributors or the names of veterans or family members that contributors wish to commemorate.
