First Tuesday SMTX is presenting a Documentary Masterclass on Saturday, January 25, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Price Center in San Marcos. The class is led by filmmaker Jeffrey Brown, a SXSW Documentary Mentor. The comprehensive, all-day event focuses on unscripted, multimedia approaches to creating strong visual content for documentaries as well as YouTube and Tik Tok videos and marketing videos.
The course covers story and storytelling through production, post-production, film festival strategy, sales and distribution. All levels are welcome and seating is limited. Lunch is provided.
