At this time of the year, it wouldn’t be a stretch to describe our town as a Hallmark Christmas movie. If you haven’t had a chance yet to walk around our town, plan a walkabout. Our local businesses have made a beautiful effort to decorate in the spirit of the holiday season. Make it a treasure hunt. See if you can spot the gingerbread family, the giant horse or count all the candy canes.
Another fun activity suggestion is to walk through the Emily Ann Garden’s trail of lights and see the creativeness of our community and enjoy a hot chocolate and watch the performances.
We are very thankful for our wonderful volunteers who have come out to help with our projects this year, but it takes a community to Keep Wimberley Beautiful. Thanks to everybody that may not officially be a KWB member, but who have helped with road and park cleanups, neighborhood days and given their time to be part of a beautification or environmental project this year. We are very grateful.
As we move into 2025, we would welcome ideas for the new year…let us know by emailing us at: keepwimberleybeautiful@ gmail.com or stop by the library on the second Thursday of the month at 4:30pm to find out what we are up to and see if you want to join in occasionally. From all of us at KWB, we wish you a wonderful holiday season.
