December 7 through 26 The annual Trail of Lights at the EmilyAnn Theatre & Garden, 1101 FM 2325, continues through December 26.
December 20 and 21
The 5th Annual Princess Holiday Ball takes place from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Community Center, 14068 RR12. Central Texas Theatre Academy in conjunction with Wimberley Parks and Recreation invites young girls to don their favorite dress to meet and take photos with princesses Elsa, Anna, Belle, Rapunzel, and Moana. Festivities include a Holiday Tea Party with treats, crafts to take home, and singing and dancing led by the host princesses. There is also a special surprise visit from “you know who.” Tickets are $35 for children and $15 for adults. Reserve tickets at centextheatre.org/ events-and-performances/ event-2/. The Wimberley Civic Club’s Breakfast with Santa takes place from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the former Scudder Elementary school, 400 Green Acres Dr. The civic club’s popular breakfast
December 20, 21 and 22 Breakfast with Santa, 8 to 9:30 a.m. at Creekhaven Inn & Spa, 400 Mill Race Lane. Creekhaven Inn will host a family weekend December 20 to 22 that includes breakfast with Wimberley’s Santa.
December 22

December 24
Christmas eve services at 5 and 7 p.m. will take place at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, 6000 RM 3237. The 5 p.m. service features a children’s pageant and holy eucharist in the main sanctuary. All children in attendance are encouraged to participate in the production and are asked to pick up their costumes 15 minutes before the pageant. At 7 p.m., the holy eucharist will take place in the chapel followed by choral musical performances. For information, visit ststeve.org.

A huge nine-lamp Menorah will be lit at 5 p.m. in front of the Old Mill Store, 314 Wimberley Square. Hosted by the Chabad Jewish Center of the Hill Country, the annual Hanukkah tradition includes live music, food, giveaways and a brief program explaining the Hanukkah holiday. Everyone is invited to attend.

42 Players meet Tuesdays and Fridays, 9 a.m. to noon at the Wimberley Senior Citizens Center. Partners not necessary. A $1 donation supports coffee and snacks. Look for the Senior Center suite and entrance on the right side of the Wimberley Community Center.

The Hill Country Unit of the Herb Society of America meets the third Wednesday of the month at the Wimberley Village Library, 400 FM 2325 and features guest speakers, educational programs, and hands-on activities that promote the use of herbs for health, cooking or home care. Alzheimer’s Caregivers Support Group meets the first Thursday in the Presbyterian Church Library, 956 FM 2325, 12:45 to 2 p.m. For caregivers who are caring for a loved one with dementia.
