Wimberley Ace Hardware generously sponsored the Knights of Columbus’ Raise the Flag project at Eagle Rock during their recent monthlong Round Up at the Register program. The proceeds from the community-funded Round Up, where customers choose to round their purchase price to the next whole dollar and donate to the cause, will help the local Knights raise the flag at the FM2325 entrance to Eagle Rock.

“The Knights still have some fundraising to do to finalize this project, but with the support of Ace Hardware, their owners Christy and Tad Degenhart along with the generosity of our community, we are able to see the project approach fruition,” said Mike Schneider from the Knights of Columbus.

Help recently came from the Wimberley City Council who, last week, approved that $2,000 of Hotel Occupancy Tax funds will go toward the project.
