Creekhaven Inn & Spa to hold Mother-Daughter Retreat Nov. 8-10
Creekhaven Inn & Spa in Wimberley will hold a “Worthy-Weekend” retreat, a mother- daughter getaway designed to foster connection and personal growth. Led by Helena Hauk, a Certified Integrative Nutrition Coach and RYT 200, will lead the retreat. An RYT 200 is a certification that indicates a person has completed 200 hours of yoga teacher training and is registered with the Yoga Alliance.
Inspired by Jamie Kern Lima’s book “Worthy,” Hauk aims to create a transformative experience for mothers and daughters.
A New York Times bestseller, the book offers practical advice and exercises to help readers improve their selfworth and live more fulfilling lives. Intended for readers who struggle with self-doubt, imposter syndrome or fear of failure and rejection, it offers practical advice, exercises and stories that help readers embrace their true selves and let go of limiting beliefs. Author Jamie Kern Lima, the founder and former CEO of IT Cosmetics, wrote the book to embolden readers to rewrite their stories and accept that the past does not define who we are.
The program includes sessions on positive internal dialogue, releasing limiting beliefs and claiming self-worth. It also includes mini spa experiences and skin care techniques, light movement activities and all-inclusive meals. Participants will also receive take-home items, including journals, meditation tools, and other wellness components.
